In the realms of facials and personal pampering, I enjoy my high-quality skincare products as much as anyone. I LOVE them. Mainly because they have a really distinct effectiveness, and provide my skin with a healthful glow and feel.
However, I also really enjoy seeking new and fun homemade recipes for an unquestionably natural and more affordable spa session. I recently went in search for a facial mixture that might help with redness and acne, and I came across this little gem.
It has some caveats though. Being that it is made with turmeric, it will tinge your skin slightly yellow. I would suggest maybe doing it later in the day (like when you won’t have to go out in public again...Unless you’re totally cool with the possibility of someone suggesting you might be jaundiced) so that the color can wear off a little before the next day. Your hands will likely also be a little yellow after applying the mask, but the color does wear off!
A plus to this facial mask: it’s vibrant color makes you look like a super hero! It kind of reminded me of The Vision from Marvel’s second Avengers movie as well as Captain America: Civil War. Who wouldn’t want that?
Also, it leaves your skin feeling smooth, warm, and soft. I personally loved it, but again, beware of the yellowing turmeric…
