Cookie Dough for two (or for one Carlee)

I’m not ashamed to say that this has been my go-to treat for the past few months. 

Cookie dough is one of my favorite things.  I’m one of THOSE people who would rather eat the dough than the cookies. So, I found this recipe online for a quick cookie dough fix. Takes me about five minutes to get all the ingredients out, mix them together, and consume it. 

 

I’ve tweaked the recipe a bit, more to my taste, since I’ve made this more than a few times. 

Even better, when I make it, I do it all in one bowl so there’s less dishes! Yay! Efficiency! 

 

2 Tbs butter (melted)

1/4 Tsp Vanilla 

1/4 Cup Packed Brown Sugar

Pinch Salt

1 Tbs milk

6 Tbs flour

 

Melt butter in bowl. Mix in Brown sugar, vanilla, and salt. Add milk. Stir in flour 1 Tbs at a time until consistency is just right. Add handful of chocolate chips, oatmeal, dried cranberries, nuts, etc.  Makes enough cookie dough for two large spoonfuls… or one bowl, if you’re not planning on sharing. 

I don't have a beautiful and artistic picture of my cookie dough to share, because it doesn't last very long in my place!

BONUS! If you were ever warned about salmonella from eating raw cookie dough, you don’t have to worry anymore! This recipe is completely safe to consume raw. 

Is it bad that I typed all that from memory? Again, this is my go-to snack, I know it better than I know how to boil water. (I’m only mostly kidding)
