Honestly, I am not the best at making healthful decisions when it comes to desserts. It’s just reallly hard to say no to a big slab of chocolate cake, slathered in rich chocolate frosting, you know what I mean?
But, on occasion, I do try to find something that I don’t have to regret in any way shape or form. And because I do really enjoy being able to fill my family’s bellies with delicious and nutritious foods. It can’t always be about what I want, right?
Well this chocolate avocado mousse is kind of the perfect compromise in terms of a dessert that is healthy, but that also tastes AMAZING!!!
Chocolate Avocado Mousse
Yield: 6 servings
- 3 avocados
- 2 tbsp. cocoa powder
- ¼ cup maple syrup
- 6 dates, pitted
- A dash of cinnamon

Place all ingredients in a food processor and blend until the mousse has reached a smooth consistency.
Serve chilled or store in refrigerator.
